The house has charm and curb appeal straight out of the Warner Bros. lot. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac, within walking distance of a community lake. It features extensive upgrades, including an AGA professional-grade stove and beautiful wainscoting throughout. It’s definitely a family home and not someplace you’d expect two 22-year-old newlyweds to take up with their 13 dogs.
The property is located in the highly desirable Landfall area of Wilmington and was built in 1994. It last sold in October 2017 for $795,000 and has been thoroughly renovated since the days Chad and Sophia occupied it.

Should you buy Chad and Sophia’s former home in Wilmington?
The question to answer here is, can you afford Chad and Sophia’s former marital home at 713 Windswept Place in Wilmington? The home is absolutely gorgeous and clearly in a desirable area. It has increased substantially in value over the years and could continue to climb. The home recently saw a $20,000 price cut and appears slightly overpriced compared to other homes in the area.
Still, it has a great deal of income potential if you were to fix up the unit above the garage and rent it out. The home itself has been impeccably renovated and features a lot of high-end upgrades and decorative touches. If you can afford a million-dollar home in Wilmington, this is certainly a nice property. And if you’re a One Tree Hill fan, buying this property means you can live out your Brucas fantasy and maybe let other fans immerse themselves in their favorite TV show.
